Shenzhen City Guide

Shenzhen city is a sub-provincial city of Guangdong Province in southern China. The city borders with Hong Kong, and is located in the Pearl River Delta covering an area of about 2,000 square kilometers. Shenzhen has six administrative districts: Luohu, Futian, Nanshan, Baoan, Longgang, Yantian.
In 1980, Shenzhen city was designated as a special economic zone by the central government, and since then, Shenzhen has developed into a fast paced, and prosperous modern metropolis. Today, Shenzhen is a city of hope and opportunities, drawing thousands of talented individuals from across China and around the world.

The city became one of the largest manufacturing bases in the world. Shen zhen became a major manufacturing and export base of electrical appliances, garments, toys, jewelry, food, building materials, leather, and furniture in China.
